Be here. Be now. Be SEEN.

3 is the new 2!

Everywhere I look, families of 5 are cropping up.  And when the love is as abundant as in this family, it's no wonder people are having more children.

Plus, these folks make really pretty babies!

Don't worry--I won't end this post without my signature pose!

I love the natural expressions of the kids playing. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, Claude.  I love the work of photographers like you who capture a natural moment instead of trying to artificially create one.

Okay, I love them all, and

Okay, I love them all, and that one where the baby's laughing with such blue eyes...breathtaking!

You know, I'm realizing the problem with my new iMac.  It's TOO fabulous.  This was the 1st post I did entire on the Mac and when I saw it on my PC laptop, I was horribly disappointed by the lack of vibrancy.  Oh, and the entire family has amazingly blue eyes!

 Lack of vibrancy? Do you

Lack of vibrancy? Do you mean the monitor? I'm going to invest in a new laptop or desktop this month or the next, so I'm open to being swayed!

Yes, it's the monitor.  I was

Yes, it's the monitor.  I was going to get a special (read: expensive) monitor and then sure that it was properly calibrated (~$100) and I figured that I might as well just pay the "Mac tax" and it would pretty all come out even.

Whereas everything is bright with saturated colors and sharp contrast on the Mac, it (the EXACT same image) is significantly darker, duller, and slightly less sharp.  And it's not just a matter of turning up the brightness.

I like my Mac a lot but it has its annoyances.  I think of the differences between Mac and PC as mostly advertising spin--but I'm the cynic who doesn't care whether a politician is Republican or Democrat because he will end up screwing me in the end regardless of his party affiliation.  I am the same with Nikon and Canon.  Both different, quality products that have been pegged into a corner by their advertising motifs.  Still, go into a Mac store and play.  They invite you...they WANT you to play.  See if you like it firsthand.
