Having had two children, I am well aware of all the grand emotions attached to the experience of pregnancy and childbirth. I want to create images that convey the love, hope, and excitement (and let's not forget the fear too) of adding a new member to the family.

What greater way to celebrate life than to experience it through the infectious exuberance of little ones? I marvel at how children remain steadfastly genuine in their expression; it makes their portraits so honest.

When I see a family, I see a group of people who belong to each other and who tenderly hold each others' past, present, and future.

There are those moments in our lives so beautiful and so transformative that they transcend words. Whether it's a couple's journey into matrimony or a high school Senior's graduation, I am always thrilled and honored to capture these rites of passage.
